FEATURES:
- Automatically lock and unlock your Mac based on the distance between your iPhone and your Mac.
- Easily customize the distance at which your Mac should be locked or unlocked.
- Enhance security with fingerprint (Touch ID), double knock, or Apple Watch authorization for each Mac login.
- Lock and unlock your Mac manually with your iPhone.
- Fast track Mac login by knocking twice on your iPhone.
- Receive a notification and capture a picture when someone tries to log into your Mac.
- Keep your Mac unlocked while connected to your selected WiFi network (e.g., Home network) using WiFi Unlock.
- Copy and paste text between your iPhone and Mac with Clipboard.
- Choose between sleep (hibernate) and screensaver when locking your Mac.
- Receive notifications when your Mac is locked or unlocked.
- Unlock your Mac directly using interactive notifications on your iPhone by swiping left on received notifications.
- Easily control your Mac through the iPhone Notification Center Widget, allowing you to lock and unlock it from anywhere on your iOS device.

- Locate your lost iPhone by pinging it from your Mac using the Find My iPhone feature.
- Authorize Mac tasks, like installing new software, with Touch ID or by knocking on your iPhone.
- Use Siri on your iPhone to lock and unlock your Mac.
SECURITY:
Your credentials and data are securely stored on your devices with AES encryption. Additionally, the Bluetooth communication channel is internally encrypted for added protection.
REQUIREMENTS:
Near Lock requires a Mac running Mavericks or later and Bluetooth LE technology. The following Macs support Bluetooth LE:
- iMac late 2012 or newer
- MacBook Air 2011 or newer
- MacBook Pro 2012 or newer
- Mac mini 2011 or newer
- Mac Pro late 2013 or newer
